Making music, self-built amplifiers and a passion for reproduced sound with HiFi loudspeakers (Wharfedale at the time), started the quest for becoming a record-producer/engineer around 1979. In 1986 the dream came true. (On the picture the just released album of Supertramp, Breakfast in America.)

I loved Lina's rendition of the baroque violin in this recording.
The recording captures the mood of the two instruments and players well, and is one of the best downloads I have purchased recently.
A beautiful and nuanced transcription by the Kuijken Quartet. Excellent recording too.
Usually I'm not a big fan of listening church organs at home. The sensation of a live performance and the physical experience while sitting in a church listening to a great organ can't be beaten.
Nonetheless I find this recording gets you as close as possible to the live experience.
The organ playing by Aart Bergwerff is top notch. Very musical in articulation and selection of the organ registers. The tempi are fresh where they need to be, like the opening of the recording and touching like the first movement of BWV 527.
Pure joy for the listener!
Beautiful recording
A pleasure to hear this outstanding music in true high resolution.
Previous audio reviewer for enjoythemusic.com. Have now purchased 22 titles in stereo, auro 3d and binaural. Each is of the highest level of recorded sound and musicality. Well worth their price.
You make beautiful sounding recordings
Auro-3Dによるイマーシブ感と上質な演奏が融合して、とても素晴らしい体験ができました。今後もAuro-3Dのタイトルを増やしてください。
Recording 5* Performance 4*
Great box with all symphonies. Excellent performance of Anima Eterna on period historical instruments and top recording quality by Northstar Recordings.

>Hello Bert
>
> I really like your recording. The organ is beautiful and the organist seems to caress the keys. There is a good balance between direct and reflected sound. Some organ recordings, in a reverberant space, sound distant and echoey. Others have clear, direct sound from the organ with little room sound. Your recording has a good balance between direct and reflected sound. I can hear detail of the organ (action, wind, chiff) along with room sound, but the room sound doesn't obscure the organ sound. On the last track, in particular, the reverberant sound enhances the organ.immensely to produce a truly lovely moment.
>
> I feel as if I'm standing about half-way back in the empty room on the main floor.
>
> There are only three lines in these sonatas. I can't help but wonder if the reverberant sound might tend to obscure the organ if larger, thicker preludes, fugues and toccatas were recorded.
>
> You live in an area where the greatest number of historical, gorgeous, playable organs located in flattering acoustical environments reside, as well as some of the world's finest organists. I think that you have made an entirely successful recording which I can't wait to listen to again. I sincerely hope that you take advantage of your location and make many more organ recordings.

Very nice Jazz
Excellent album by top notch Dutch jazz musicians! This music is timeless.
Many years ago I acquired these 5 Mendelssohn Symphonies on SACD, ripped them onto my music hard drive and enjoyed them. But I just downloaded these performances in DXD and the sonics are even more spectacular than in DSD64. Really brings these performances to life. Having great fun reacquainting myself with these performances.
